Answer» Clicking on a link or an attachment in OE 6 immediately locks computer up. After escaping OE with the Control, Alt, Del. routine, Internet Exploror won;t work either. Have to restart computer, then everything ok till TRY it again. Suggestions???What link or attachment ... or is it any link or attachment so its not related to any specific content? If its related to say PDF links and attachments only then it may be that you need adobe reader etc. More info is needed to point you in RIGHT direction.Any link or attachment, does not APPEAR to be product linked, ALREADY have Adobe reader and opened pdf files just fine until this problem started.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2398839 I would try the above linked procedure to see if this corrects it.
