Answer» Hi everyone-this is my first post .A few days ago I noticed that the new email alert sound for outlook express had stopped working.The correct box under options is still checked and I have other sound on my pc so it's not the speakers etc. The only thing I can think of is that I have Yahoo messenger and the other day I downloaded the very latest version to update it.Could this have caused the above problem in any way? Any help would be appreciated-I'm a novec with COMPUTERS so need things spelling out vvery simply I'm AFRAID! Thanks in advanceCan someone help with this,PLEASE?-it's driving me daft!You could do a SYSTEM RESTORE to a few days ago BEFORE this and see if that fixes it. If so, you will know what the problem is, ALTHOUGH you may have already identified it.
