Answer» I am using Outlook Express as my mail server. A couple of weeks ago, something happened and it started leaving sent messages in the Outbox folder and resends unless I manually delete it. It also is no longer copying the sent message to my Sent Items folder. I loaded NORTON 2006 and ran a full system scan. This is the only thing I can think of that would have done something to it. Any help you can give me in resolving this would be very much appreciated!!! Thanks CaryAd Aware, Spybot and Ewido for you. www.google.com and enter the names for free download. It's checked to send them. The Norton version is the INTERNET Security/Symantec Integrator. It was loaded on December 20th. The sent items folder stopped receiving sent message on December 14th. Thanks Caryaccording to microsoft, the send and inbox should be under 2,000 items. seperatley. you might need to copy out to other boxes you create in e-mail, just be sure your sent and inbox are under 2,000 items.. hope this helps, it helped us, A 5 month bump....
