Some how I managed to crete an entire NEW set of Personal folders in Outook that I do not want. I can't seem to delete them. I went into Outlooks help and was unable to delete them with the instuctions given.  Delete folders was not in BOLD and wouldn't let me select it. Now when I download new email they are going to that new inbox. How can I get rid of that set of folders?what I would do is close Outlook. Then FIND your original .pst folder, right click on it and open with Outlook. That should open your original file. Then if you want to transfer your e-mail from your "new pst file", go to file - open and point to the new file. It should open in the sidebar of the outlook window. Then copy & paste or drag the e-mail over to the appropriate sections of your original. If its only one account, you can also go to Outlook into tools - e-mail accounts - change and you will see a drop down for setting the file in which you want your e-mail stored.I ENDED up just doing a restore and it WORKED.
