Answer» GREETINGS, I have a question/problem. I have a laptop & desktop computer. I've been playing with the Outlook program, scheduling appts. My problem is that I'd like to transfer one Outlook Calendar or scheduled Appt from my desktop to laptop or vice versa & send this to either computer. Does ANYONE know how I could do this or is it possible? Thank you What OS are you running? Using Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express? I'll take a guess and say it's XP and MS Outlook. Two easiest ways: 1. Purchase a SERIAL cable (provided both systems have serial port active) or use a network connection (provided one exists!) and use the files and SETTINGS transfer wizard. 2. Use the Export function under 'Files' in Outlook and export names, address and calendar. 'Import to another program or file' then use the .PST format. Save the file to wherever you want. Attach this file to an email or save to disc and send it/install it to the other pc. hth. |
