Answer» This has just happened, I click on any icon and I get a popup saying " system call failed " you can see below. It will not even open games, doc's, photo's. [attachment deleted by admin to conserve space]Looks like corruption in registry. Have you dealt with any INFECTIONS from malware or virus or is this UNEXPECTED? If you have the repair disc for your OS you can run that and most likely FIX this.Or run sfc /scannow from a command PROMPT...Thank you Dave and Patio I logged off last night and logged in to-day and everything is fine all back to normal.That doesn't mean the issue has gone away...ok, I will see to the above in a few minutes.
