Answer» I want to write a batch file which GIVES me the text within the double quotes from the below string. Agent STATE change for agrpa02\|Web\|Web Agent Run As Locals "Web\|Security System\|Run As Locals\|Average Response TIME" from ABC to XYZ How can this be done. It has to be assumed that the number of works before the first quote could vary.I don't KNOW how to write a batch file for this, but I can TELL how to do it with Microsoft Excel. Do you have Excel?
