Solve : pc crash...?

Answer»

hi

my PC recently cashed from a virus i guess...

First suddenly i couldn't do anything anymore, couldn't move my mouse or anything...
than i restarted and after 5 minutes i had the same problem
i restarted again and i couldn't start windows anymore...

Now, i wouldn't mind formatting but that doesn't really work...

When i start my PC, it keeps saying that i have to input my windows installation disc while I've already done that...

I have allready placed my CD DRIVER as 1st boot device. Than it says 'press any key to restart your computer with the disc (or something like that)'. Than i do that and i get the same explanation as before but now in English(I'm from Belgium so first it was in dutch)...

can somebody help me?

PS sorry if my English isn't that good:p (lol now i saw the spell CHECK xD nice! )well
once you turn on your computer you could access your recovery menu and perform a system recovery on your computer
you either have the option of doing a destructive or non destructive recovery
you may also need your original operating system CD
also called your windows CD or recovery diskIs your Windows XP CD legit?
What type of keyboard are you using (PS/2, USB, wireless)?Quote from: chuchu61190 on December 15, 2008, 01:43:19 PM

i've got windows vista and YES it is legit...
i think i've got a PS/2 keyboard(purple input...)Did CD drive work before?yes offcourse....

When i start my computer it says press any key to restart using the CD

Than i do that and it BEGINS with 'windows is loading files'

But when the loading is completed i return to where i was saying i have to insert the CD...Do you, maybe, have a set of recovery cds? Does the disc say 1 of a set? Does the disc have shiny holograms on it?Quote from: JJ 3000 on December 16, 2008, 11:33:18 PM

I've only got ONE CD but it does has shiny holograms on it...
it only says 'this CD only contains 32-bits software' and some crap of not copying it etc.Well, you need to tell us what exactly that disk says. Where is it from?
It may be not bootable CD.I'm just gonna take my harddrive out and connect it to another computer and formatate it because I can't find any other solution...

Admin you can close this topic:pWas it something we said ? ?
