Answer» Good day, I want to know why is my pc doesn't SHUTDOWN automatically after I upgrade it to winXP from win98SE.In order to turn off, you must HOLD the POWER button for a few seconds.Hope you have answers to my questions.Have you got all the latest updates? i.e. Service Pack 2.Does the computer stop responding after you select Shutdown, or can you STILL do things? Does your task manager show any programs still running? Will it RESPOND to a request to restart, or will it just hang after that, also?
