Solve : PC shuts down and loads repeatadly? |
|
Answer» I have a PC that runs windows XP, the cdrom drive does not work (i plan on replacing it but that is not the problem) When I turn it on it loads the has the safe mode/safe with networking/safe mode with command prompt, etc. screen. Once I choose any of them it will begin to load and before the XP logo shows up the computer will shut down and go to the same screen. BASICALLY all I want to do is reformat the hard drive and install a RECOVERY disk but I can't do that do to it won't let me access the command prompt or the gui. (I have another computer that works fine and does run windows xp if that helps) I am looking for anyone that can help or has any suggestions.Unfourtionatly, if you want to re-install you'll have to first FIX (replace) the CD rom.
