SHUT it off , restart and it freezes windows start up ,,, turn off restart and i enter they all sat in a box for 2-3 yrs.... i get the box ... puti together with my hard drives... and it works great.... come home one night , computer is on but no display... Did'nt see the "s" on your hard DRIVE. Ok you have 2 hard drives, with two OS(installed for dualboot)? Did it came to a point that it was running without this issue after you set-up or not? You mention you have new hardware components. Are they bought for replacements, upgrades or what?the new parts were a project of someone elses who never put it together.... the computer worked great for about a month with no issues.... then came home one night and,,,,, nothing is happening Free suggestions: Borrow a known GOOD PSU of the same or greater wattage and swap it in there... DOUBLE check all connections to drives MBoard power etc... Try it with only the bare essentials: MBoard CPU/fan assembly 1 stik of RAM Vid Card if needed Mouse Keyboard Monitor. HDD is not neccessary for this test...we just want to see if it will POST. |
