Solve : Persistent or Recurring Registry Errors?

Answer»

Hello!

I am running an XP SP3 platform and routinely run AML Registry Cleaner. It removes or fixes approx. 150 - 250 Registry errors, mainly 'Invalid Paths' and 'No Association'. Now, if I run another scan within the hour, I'll get another 150 errors easily, not exactly the same.

What could be causing this? and is there a way of correcting these short of reinstalling all the installed programs?

Thanks!AML Registry Cleaner is a rogue program. will you help me to canvas for my mboard x58 super computerThanks for the replies, but I am a bit perplexed.

To reply #1 [BC_Programmer], what is MEANT exactly by a "AML Registry Cleaner is a rogue program." Does it introduce problems into the system, is it malicious, is it INEFFECTIVE, ..., etc? could you explain.

To reply #2 [4ngel of death], what is the relevance of your reply to the question asked, am I missing SOMETHING ?

Thanks again!A rouge program is a program that TELLS you that you have errors or viruses and then persuades you to PAY for the software to remove it when you don't really need it.

4ngel of death's replay is not relevant. He is just hijacking your thread.Registry tools are not recommended and here is why: http://miekiemoes.blogspot.com/2008/02/registry-cleaners-and-system-tweaking_13.html
