Answer» what if I downloaded the windows vista x64 recovery? I think you could recover the data if you hooked the hard drive up as a Slave on another computer. But isn't the PASSWORD stored on the hard drive? It could malfunction some way.oh, I didn't know if I could SAVE it on a usb stick and transfer it. Oh well.Hmmmm....Flash Drive.....
