Did you try Safe Mode, YET?Our cAPS LOCK IS ACTING UP.. WE TRIED TO STart in "sAFE MODE" BY PRESSING f8 ON STartup.. but it just stARTS LIKE IT alwAYS DOES.. uNDER applicATIONS IS ONLY FIREFOXF8 needs to be TAPPED quickly and repeatedly while it's starting and before you see a Windows screen......and you'll see "Safe mode" displayed in all 4 corners of your screen. If patio advice doesn't work at first, do NOT restart. Turn your computer off. Then after a minute, or so turn it on tapping F8.explorer.exe is not starting when windows is. (see processes list). This is what controls all icons and the start menu.In Task Manager go to New Task (Run). Type cmd, and then press ENTER. Type ren shdocvw.dll shdocvw.old (<----watch out for spaces) Restart the computer. |
