Answer» okay. so a few days ago all my usb ports decided to stop working. i try plugging my phone, my ipod, whatever into all my usb ports and they will CHARGE, but the computer WONT recognize them. they dont show up in my computer, or the device manager. any ideas? Did you make any hardware or software changes before this started? Can you give some more INFO about the computer? What operating system? How many usb ports? Laptop or desktop? What's the brand and model of the computer?And, have you TRIED restarting? #1 problem solver... Since they are charging, the USB device is connected, but, the port itself may be busy for some odd reason that makes no SENSE at all. Actually shutting down your computer, not just restarting, might be able to fix this problem. Hi Please Give us complete system configuration. Thank you Sykes
