Answer» I accidentaly formatted my C: drive using my Mcafe antivirus and when i restarted my computer it reads error loading operating system. I tried to re-install my Operating system Windows XP media center and it reads that there are no hard drives available, I have been trying to fix it on my own but i simply dont have the know- how, what should i do? I APPRECIATE any help in this matter, thank you.How did you format your hard drive? What antivirus? What is the exact error messsage you get when you start up? What version of Windows?I was using MCAFEE antivirus and i accidentaly used the shredder option to erase the C drive,when i restarted it read error loading operating system. I am using window xp media center 2005, when i tried to re-install EVERYTHING it read no hard drive s are available, im so stuck right nowSo you have the media center disk right? How did you go about trying to reinstall? Did you BOOT to the disk?
