Solve : Port Redirection? |
|
Answer» Hello, again. I have Windows 98SE. Each time I run a port scan it never finds anything. When doing a UDP scan to someone else, I found something on port 53. I was then suggested by an acuaintance to change my current port from 80 to 53. That WAY I can port scan other people, (not for hacking). I am behind a router, I think that was the problem from the start. What exactly is it you want to do ?Well, we tried to set up a network, but that didn't work. It is only able to establish local or wireless area network. We figured, that if we wanted a "direct" connection (without paying for hardware), LIKE they do in AIM or YIM, we could just send files by connecting through ping and port. In a way that is hacking, but they are both my computers. You can Demilitarize your Router and STOP it from blocking packets.Yeah, I went to the DMZ part of my router and made a DMZ for my computer but it still isn't working. The only thing I GET is from the udp scan, #53 DNS, but still nothing on the port scan. And every computer should have open ports if you can ping them and get replies. You guys KICKED me off the first page We haven't got moderator capabilities. No, I meant that there are so many topics, and mine wasn't answered. Technically, it was kicked off the first page, help really is appreciated.http://www.dslreports.com/scan and there is always sub -seven...do what the rest of the world does...breathe...forget port scanning...or you will get kicked of by your isp ...and this if you want it>http://www.petri.co.il/quickly_find_local_open_ports.htm and to have wiffy you should have you files encrpyted... |
