RECENTLY, I had terrible experience with my system (OS Win98SE):
In the middle of the use, the computer restarted itself; sometimes, it SHUT itself down all of a sudden (I am not sure if it shut down or the power supply was cut!) After it was "shut down" without warning, I tried to start it up again, but no response from the machine( no LED light(s) or sound; it was dead() until I unplugged the power from the wall outlet, waited for about 30 secs, and started it again.
If any one of you have any IDEA, please don't hesitate to advise me.I guess the problem might lies with the power cord. PERHAPS you might want to change to another power cord to try.

I wonder under what conditions will the PC or the poser supply unit become overheated. My machine was not too hot to the touch!
By the way, could my problem is software or virus related at all?
