Answer» Purchased HP Pavilion dv6000 and won't "communicate" w/my Lexmark Z600 Printer. Is this a Vista PROBLEM? How to CORRECT? THANKSNo idea right now but - ASSUMING this is USB connected - did Windows ''recognize" it on FIRST hook up? Did it come with a driver disk? If so (and I imagine it did) - did you do things in sequence? usually or often - driver needs put on before plugging printer in. Does the printer show as present in ''printers and faxes' thru control panel. if so - what do 'properties' show? LET's have all the info you can give.
