Answer»

yes, i tried this before...and both BOXES are set to automatic setting...Do you know the IP ADDRESS of your router or modem?
What router/modem are you using?nope sorry, i don't know the IP adress for the routher/modem....but we have a D-link routher and a ZyNXEL modem...hope this HELPS you...Do you have a model number for either of those?the number to the routher is DI-624+ and for the ZyNXEL i am afraid i cannot find anything...but the routher is most important i guess...because i got both a D-link routher and a D-link adapter and both of them is AirPlus G+ model.... hope this helps OK, try to ping 192.168.0.1 - does that work?let me check later, gotta go now.. i come in 2 hrs... ahh mate, i just remembered something that might be important...for not too long ago a friend of mine where at my house..he brought his MAC laptop with him...he tried to connect to our network, it also told him he was connected but he couldn't connect...and then suddenly we did something with his computer in the computer options and it worked...i have also realized that when i got the Properties of wireless network 7 which i am using, on properties of our network, i have not filled in the WEP key we have, but i cannot do that, it tells me that i have to create a new name for the network then..so i did..but that one which i create doesn't show up in the ''WANT to connect to internet suggestions'' hope this helps

i tried ipconfig/help and ipconfig/renew..when i do ipconfig/renew it tells me that i am not connected to a DHCP-server.

I hope you get your problem resolved, I'll keep watching in case I think of anything.
