Solve : Problem (screen?)? |
|
Answer» Hello 1) Try a different display to see if you have the same problem or1) What if he doesn't have/can't get access to a different display? 2) What if he doesn't have/can't get access to a different system? Spiny: 2) What does this sound, sound like? Is it a series of sharp, electronical beeps or RATHER Windows sounds (warnings) or the 'pressing a number when numlock is off' sound? Can you describe it more? Are you on Windows VISTA? What OS are you on? What videocard do you have? Please tell. I have a Packard Bell myself. How I open it is like this: on the back, there are something like 6/8 screws. First, you have to unscrew the ones who are at the side of the ventilation hole panel (in your image, it's the side of the computer which is close to the screen). Then, it has some sort of hooking system, little HOOKS that go into holes. After unscrewing the screws from the side, try unhooking this panel by pulling it straight backward, then up/down. It might take a bit of tampering with it, but it should unhook. It's like a sliding DOOR, but with a hook system. My suggestion is to try and install the latest drivers for your video card. Here is a page for iXtreme drivers, depending on what videocard you have: iXtreme drivers Scroll down to 'video drivers', click on their title, scroll down, then on the right you see 'download', click it. It takes a while (maybe a minute), because their FTP servers are slow. Report back to us when you can. Good luck! |
