Answer» This problem started two days ago. I am using Win7 with Office 2008. When ever I click on a folder or item in my Document Library I get the message, “ There was a problem sending the command to the program.”. I click O.K. and try again clicking on the item and it opens with no TROUBLE. It is the same for all folders and ITEMS in the library. It always works just fine with the second try. Thanks, eddie460Isn't Office 2008 a Mac PRODUCT? Did you mean Office 2007? Anyhow, try this: Open Windows EXPLORER and navigate to the Word executable program file, Winword.exe. It will be in a folder with a name like C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 12. Right click on the program icon and if "Run as administrator" is checked, uncheck it.
