contact themAnyone knows thisMore info needed.  What browser (and what version) and what firewall/security software are you running?  Are there any differences between the two PCs?Hi thanks for interest. My problem computer is a packard bell media, website providers are freestart, isp are pipex,.
The other computer is  e machine, and wanadoo isp.( this pc uploads ok )

I have avg anti virus and use the windows firewall. Also use adaware and spybot. Not too sur about the technicals of the computer system apart from it being 2.9ghz with 2 hard drives totaling 180gig  my browser is IE.
If you need more info please ask
many thanks GrahamCan you upload one of the offending images here, we like pictures. This is one of the images. Sorry if it doesnt work.

If it doesnt work how/why can i post one.Right well done me, so that is one of the PICS. I did resize it and tried to send to my website but was still the same. As previosly mentioned i have two hard drives -  one is 20gig for the programmes and windows applications and the other is 160gig for data. I have stored the images on the data hard drive, is this ok ? When i had this computer from new i started to install wanadoo isp on it but did not do it all and stopped the process.Shortly afterwards i went with pipex and that is now on the computer and that is now my isp. When i open up outlook express it still says -o express provided by wanadoo- so something must still be on my system. Internet explorer said the same for quiet a while but a few WEEKS ago it reverted back to just the windows logo. Sorry if i am not CLEAR in my descriptions.
Cheers GrahamWhat are you actually trying to fix?

What happen?

OK i do understand you but it took abit
When you installed wanadoo, have actually uninstalled it ( all of the extra compoenent )
Try uninstalling outlook and reinstalled it again

What about your first problem has that been fix yet
Hi, sorry if i was confusing things. I still have my original problem ie: cannot upload images onto my web site. All of the extra stuff i mentioned in previous post was some additional info that i thought might have some influence with this problem. The wanadoo was installed as far as the modem driver then i could not get any farther cus i did have the proper wanadoo disc and the disc i was using didnt have the drivers on it. So i unistalled from add/remove.

Cheers GrahamStill need to know what browser you're using to do the upload.

Have you tried briefly turning off the firewall when you upload?Internet Explorer is the browser and i have tried turning off the firewall. But it still wont work. It is done through the Freestart control panel that is part of the web package.Install Firefox, and try using that for the upload.  Let us know if it works?  (You should really be ditching I.E. anyway.  If you need IE functionality, use SlimBrowser or Maxthon instead.)Change the file extension to lower case letters   .jpgBrilliant, thanks Rob- i installed Firefox and now it works fine. But i dont know why!
Is it a better browser than explorer? Thanks for all the help. Will keep looking on this site because it is full of help and knowledge.
Many thanks Graham
