hello all...

My problem is when i START my computer, the desktop icons appear seems like using VGA NOT DVI.... but after i RESTART my computer, the desktop icons back to normal ( DVI )...When i shutdown my computer and start back the desktop icons appear seems like using VGA...so i need to restart back to make my desktop icons back to normal (DVI) dunno why....plsss help Sounds to me like you have the wrong drivers installed for that card...What video card or integrated GPU are you running?

I have seen SIMILAR issues with running Windows 7 64 BIT using a GeForce 8400 GS video card with 256MB RAM where occasionally the Desktop Windows Manager will drop the details back to a lesser detailed interface/icons for legacy SUPPORT. On my GeForce 8400GS this was only HAPPENING when coming out of games that were full screen back to the desktop. But a restart was required to get it back to normal better appearance.

I upgraded to a ASUS ATI Radeon HD5450 video card with 512MB RAM and the problem went away.
