Answer» I am having this problem with my 8 gb sandisk cruzer when transfering files USING windows me. When I connect my sandisk cruzer to a usb port it recognizes it but only shows that 615 mb is used . Then I try to transfer something it says write protected cannot transfer FILE. I am 100% SURE that there is enough space on the flash DRIVE. When I connect it to windows vista it worked fine. I also reformatted the flash drive. Also when I try to transfer the same information on a cd it says the same error.Is there a lock-switch on the DEVICE? What Format is the filesystem of the USB drive?
