Answer» I keep getting this error(the pic) it has been happening since my computer was first on, i do have a real cd to reinstall and not much else besides the restart I don't know what that means. Happening since you first loaded XP on there? And do you have SP2 with all updates loaded?yes since xp was loaded and i do have sp2 with all updatesHow long ago was that?i loaded XP almost a year agoYou've been getting that error message for a year? It may be that a fresh INSTALL is just what you need. Can you back up any important data and try that? What are the specifics of the machine? What brand computer or motherboard make/model?yea but it hasnt started up for like 5 months - im acculy on it now. ill just move every thing to my secondary hard drive and ill do that thanks this is a custom computer and i dont acculy know the make/modelYou're a patient person to run XP on 128 meg RAM well i have been planning to add more memory i want min of 256 but anyways it wont startup again it gives me a couple different messages here they are in bios: During the last bootup your system hung for an improper CPU internal frequency setting. your system is working in safe mode. to optimise system performance and relyability make sure your cpu speed conforms to the specifications of your cpu on the energy star screen: (it stops on this) SDRAM Clock: 75 Mhz i have a strong feeling this isnt connected to the loamtxdm.exe thing currently it wont startup and this is where i left it to sit 5 months ago but i dont want to do that again thanks again |
