Windows XP SP2

When I COMMAND IE7 to run, It opens as normal, then can not load the website, or any website and stays blank white without saying "cannot display" or any other message, I am using a computer in the next room to access this website and everything works fine. The problem computer has a connected status from cable provider and displays the same ITP settings as the good computer. I have ran AVG 9 and Malware-bytes, neither found a problem although I suspect malware. also tried safe mode, and uninstall-reinstall, to no avail.
Anyone experiancing the same issue or have a clue how to correct a problem without identifining it first ?
ALSO, this problem seemed to have occured on its own about 3 weeks ago, at first it attempted to hinder the operation of several software programs and not allow them to open, now just ie7 has problem, seemed more of a computer platform problem that internet, so i posted here
What happens with other browsers (Firefox, Opera, SAFARI)?dont use them, its a computer in my police DEPARTMENT, everything about the PROGRAM runs fine as in the File, Home, Tools, and other buttons just dosent show or download web info, more or less checking to see if anyone has experianced this suspected malware issue
Ok fire fox is running fine, What now, Try the uninstall-reinstall again?Ok Allen, sorry about the reposting, uh somehow when I found that Firefox was installed and I chose to run it, Both Firefox and IE began working REGULARLY. Classic Windows for ya I guess. Thanks anyhow.
