Answer» I installed WINDOWS XP on two different hard drives, but have since removed one hard drive. But now on startup it still gives a choice between the two O/S, after a few seconds selecting the one that doesn't exist anymore. This results in a black screen with nothing. How can I remove this selection and boot the remaining XP installation by DEFAULT? EDIT the Boot.ini file to boot to the existing installation as default.Thanks Little more info - where's the boot.ini file?
