I'm quite new here but though I might have some luck with the problem I'm having with my computer.
Recently I just recieved my computer back from being re-formatted.
It is fairly old....Probably 8 years...but runs fairly well.
Now the problem I am having is....
When I try to change the name of anything...(File names)
Example. A song title, or movie title
After entering in what I want it to be called... A screen Pops up
I posted a screen shot of exactly what it says...

The Movie on the left is one I have previously agreed yes to...
The right one I have not yet tried to re name...
Anyone know what this could possibly be?

I'm a criminal...
When you click yes....The Icon changes into like the one on the left.
And when you click it you have to choose a program to open it with.
For Music titles, when you try to change them...You can't play them after nor can you add them to itunes library!! WTFFF
I had no problems with this before *le sigh*

Don't hate lover Try putting .avi at the endWould this not work? "Tools -> FOLDER Options -> View" Scroll to Hidden files and folders and untick hide extensions for KNOWN file types. At that POINT it should show your video as (title).(extension) then if you were to merely change the title and not the extension I'm thinking that WOULD work?
