Solve : Problems adding freeware font to XP OS? |
|
Answer» I downloaded a freeware group of fonts and did the following: If I already had the font, why would I download it again and not just use it? Why are you asking us? That is what the error message means. What is the font, where did you get it, etc. ALL fonts can be opened with "open" since that opens the font directly without adding it to the fonts list and displays the preview.Proper Method of installing Fonts.I found the solution when I was trawling around Google: the user on my computer did not have administrator rights. As soon as I added administrator rights, voila!, the font was added to the fonts folder and I used it immediately in Photoshop. Thanks for your efforts Quote from: jonnyD on October 04, 2009, 10:29:37 AM I found the solution when I was trawling around Google: the user on my computer did not have administrator rights.
