Answer» I'm trying to help my friend bypass his password that he forgot after he set it but I can't seem to get his computer to boot into safemode. When I do f8 at the computer start it brings up boot options but the only things I can do is select the boot device and then it boots into windows right after I select one. Is there an ALTERNATE way to boot safemode? I tried f2 and hold ctrl reading over some other peoples solutions but this is to no avail.So this isn't a PROBLEM booting into safemode...it's a problem of your friend forgetting his password ? ?
