I'm trying to downloa some games off of a site called Game Downloads.  im getting the downloads fine.  they are coming as ZIP files.  the problem is when i try to open them.  they are going in the folder as a JASC Paint file.  so  when i try to open them it won't let me as its the wrong PROGRAM.  i tried to CHANGE the folder settings but not sureif im doing that right or if that is even the right thing to do.

could use some help .

when downloading...save to desktop etc...the file you may have download previously maybe locked on paint?... >a box should appear where you wish the zip files to be sent...adjust your settings...try again...    i tried saving it to thedesktop and the samething happen this time as well.

anyother ideas.

theowahat o/s twink..what is the download site ...i will try it myself?....normaly options a given save to disk run it from the current location...had to pay $4 for a 24hr. period of downloading  they had a special download program called Downloader v3.0
it was a way of being able to use so they new that you were a paying customer.  the website is called

What kind of file extensions are present when you unzip these games?

You most likely attempted to open .zip and other compressed files before you had a program such as Winzip and told the computer to "always open" with software made by Jasc.

so how do i change that so itwill use that to open the file
