THe newest one requires you be running XP or 2000. Are you wanting to upgrade your operating system as well?I have USED Office XP, with Word XP, on ME and had no problems.The newest version requires Win2000 of XP per the Microsoft site under system requirements. http://www.microsoft.com/office/editions/prodinfo/standreq.mspx Be careful with that advice.
