I have 73 processes running is task manager. What ones are safe to end, and can you START it again if needed?
I believe they are slowing down my computer. I"m running vista. Thank's for any helpYou can disable any process you like. If you turn off one that your system needs (like explorer.exe) then just hold down the power button for 7 seconds (faster seconds) and your computer will shut down. Once you boot BACK up that process will start again. Experiment, you can't damage your computer by stopping processes. Quote

Processes are better left alone, unless you're very computer savvy and you know exactly what you're doing.
