Solve : Processor Temperature?

Answer»

My system contains Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz processor and Intel D945GCPE original mother board.

The temperature of processor is 43 Deg. C and System temp is 48 Deg C.

Are they normal ? What is the range for normal ?

Vishnu ThakorPlease state method of measuring CPU temperature
I did not measure. I checked it in CMOS Setup (BIOS SETUP). I want to know about safe temp to avoid overheating.

Vishnu Thakor70 Hot
65 Warm
35-60 Safe
25-35 Cool
Thanks a lot for giving information.

You provided excellent information.Contrex is hitting 60 safe......

I think if hes hitting 60 maybe some new cooling in the rig ......Quote from: TonyRichens on October 22, 2007, 03:35:15 AM

Contrex is not hitting anything, he's quoting the safe RANGE of case temps (what BIOS reports) for a Core Duo 2. I agree 60 is warm, but it is the topmost safe temp. My little Shuttle with P4 Prescott 3.0 GHz idles around 40 and will hit 60 at full load if I have Smartfan enabled in the BIOS. It has lasted 3 years and is still going strong.140 degrees fahrenheit? It really ain't that hot when you have
electricity flowing through you.... Fahrenheit? Isn't that some temperature scale they used in the Stone Age?

Yes that is normalQuote from: contrex on October 22, 2007, 06:11:28 AM
