Solve : Processor Temperature? |
|
Answer» My system contains Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz processor and Intel D945GCPE original mother board. Contrex is hitting 60 safe...... Contrex is not hitting anything, he's quoting the safe RANGE of case temps (what BIOS reports) for a Core Duo 2. I agree 60 is warm, but it is the topmost safe temp. My little Shuttle with P4 Prescott 3.0 GHz idles around 40 and will hit 60 at full load if I have Smartfan enabled in the BIOS. It has lasted 3 years and is still going strong.140 degrees fahrenheit? It really ain't that hot when you have electricity flowing through you.... Fahrenheit? Isn't that some temperature scale they used in the Stone Age? Yes that is normalQuote from: contrex on October 22, 2007, 06:11:28 AM Fahrenheit? Isn't that some temperature scale they used in the Stone Age? That is a slight lean towards a flame..... But, I ain't biting my FRIEND. LOL I still BELIEVE freezing should be zero degrees but, here it is 32 degrees. I also like the 24 hour clock.Makes a lot more sense than 12AM-12PM but, what can I do?WELL, Tony my friend.
