Solve : product key invalid?

Answer» what do you do when you go to reinstall windows xp and you get to the part where it says enter prouduct key then you do and it tells you the prouduct key is invalid? At that point I'm stuck. Now all my COMPUTER will do when i reboot it is start the xp loading process all over again. Even without the cd in. I'm trapped on a merry go round! My bios is set for cd first. If i chose R to repair windows what would I write? I have my newer xp cd and my OLD one and have TRIED both with the same results! Often, on laptops, the key will be on the bottom.

On a PC, it is usually on the side or the back of the computer.
