!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Certain programs won't OPERATE. At first, I thought it was my IE, but then I noticed that I was having problems w/ programs offline, too.

Some programs (ex. my Norton Anti-V) will POP up & then DISAPPEAR - no error mess. or anything - they just disappear. The same thing occurs when I open some webpages. The whole explorer window will just disappear, no error mess. or anything!

I can't even run my disc cleanup. That program will at least open, but it's like it's frozen. The task bar sticks to 3 notches (when it 1st loads it starts w/ 3, ALSO, for some strange reason), and it just stays there!

I don't know if I've deleted something cruicial or if there is possibly a virus, because my virus program won't run.

I've ran DIAGNOSTICS test through a couple programs and all the test come up as if everything is running correctly.

I have Windows XP & have also installed the SP2 update.

I can't pinpoint exactly when the problem started occurying, but I'm sure it's been within the last month. Please help! check your sp2 firewall config?
