Answer» Have Intel Pent 4 2.8ghz.Currently loaded with Microsoft OFFICE Word 2003 Professional SOFTWARE-want to update with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2007.Question is should my original software be deleted prior to installing 2007 ore can I load the new software and then remove 2003.Have numerouse folders in "My Documents" originating from 2003 - will they still be OK when upgrading to 2007??? Please reply/notify me at [email protected] Thanks Bill [email protected]dont worry just install the new version of MS office 2007 and it changes the system files and it will REPLACE the MS office 2003 and u need not worry bout the files everything will be there.You can uninstall the old version of Word first if you like. It will not effect the data files.
