You are using Windows 7 - Ia that right?
You have been using Skype before this?
Is this a new laptop computer?
i'm using a dell desktop. all the shortcuts on mu taskbar disappeared. i can only use skype for texting but when i TRY to access the internet i get the proxy sever refused the connection. the browser doesn't work. AT&T couldn't fix it and referred me to a specialist to charge me to fix it for $15 a MONTH. i dunno maybe a nondestructive reinstsall
Did you check or remove proxy settings by Internet Options?I've never heard of AT&T referring outside people.....what exactly did he do ? ?Please download MiniToolBox to Desktop and run it.
Checkmark the following boxes:
- Flush DNS
- Report IE Proxy Settings
- Reset IE Proxy Settings
- List content of Hosts
- List IP Configuration
- Lst LAST 10 Event Viewer Errors
- List Users, Partitions and Memory Size
