Answer» I have windows XP on my HP pavilion dv6000 notebook The FOLLOWING error started popping up recently during boot up. I started GETTING the following error whenever I switched on the computer: PXE-E61 - Media Test Failure, CHECK cable PXE-MOF: Exiting Intel Boot Agent. This error continues to popup...it goes on in a loop... BIOS is setup corrected & New HDD disk installed now. any suggestions on how to overcome this are really welcomed... Please help me ASAP...Can you get into windows?No.. not getting to windows and boot cd also. The starting SCREEN say like this only.Does BIOS recognize your hard drive?ya. i have tested for HDD(self tested in BIOS). No problem. If that is a new hard drive you will have to put an operating system on it in order to boot to it.Ya. i changed boot order also. but i didn't getting boot from Win XP.
