Answer» i have a question, i run win32 XP pro SP2 with 4 gig ram i do know that windows xp only have a maximum memory usage of about 3.5 gig if i disable my swap do i have possibility to get more memory out of of my ram? and is swap needed if i run with 4 gig ram?The areas of RAM that are not used by XP over 3__G are reserved RAM addresses and wouldn't get used anyways even if you turned off your PAGEFILE...swap is always needed.
