Solve : Ram problem with xp?

I have 2 512 MB ram cards they are identicle and have been tested with memtest

When i put both chips in my pc won't boot up.
with one in it boots up PERFECTS as can be.


in the bios it says something about 64bit Cuuld this be problem because i am running 32 bit windows?

Please just give me somewhere to start

amd 2.2ghz
512MB ram want 1gig
foxcon motho board
integrated graphics

Have you tried using one RAM stick in each slot? You could possibly have a bad slot.Clean off each RAM stick with rubbing alcohol and give them plenty of drying time.
Use a can of compressed AIR to blow out the RAM slots.
Re-assemble and let us know...Any results?you didn MENTION how many ram slots present on your mother board if there are four generally 2 blue and 2 yellow (but not always) this signifies dual channel ram and you must use only 1 channel first befor the other will work
so ensure you put the ram in slots of the same colour or if there not coloured put them in either slots 1 & 3 or 2 & 4

They're not always colour-coded...Guys...he hasn't returned.
Let's not discuss semantics at this point until we have further info...it was the ram........

I Used 2 256 mb chips and running stable for a few weeks now. (got from upgrading my grandmas computer from 512mb to 2 gig)(I'm so nice)
