Solve : RAM upgrade how to?? |

Answer» I have a 2nd computer (dell DESKTOP)with 256RAM, I’ll like to ADD some RAM , there are slots for additional “cards” but I don’t understand how this works, do I get one 512 RAM card and replace the 256 card? How will I know if the SYSTEM can operate a 512 card? ( or a 1G card!!) Or do I get another 256RAM card and if so, how do I get the system to recognize both cards? And will this improve the operating speed? thanksWelcome to the CH forums. |
