Solve : re-insalling xp? |

Answer» hi im tring to re INSTALL windows XP on a hardrive that was in another computer,and when i PUT the cd in i get a prompt to start when windows was working.. and a safe mode,it won't reconize the windows boot from cd,it SAYS cd boot failure..how do i re format the hardrive to install windows xp..any help would be much appreciated..thank's DaveSounds LIKE you need a different XP CD.thank's for the reply..thr problem was with a cut in the ribbon going into the cd rom..changed the ribbon and it worked..thank's again.... |
