Answer» ok my comp is really slow everything takes for ever to load up. the comp says on the side windows 2000 but it runs on XP. i have 10GB of hard DRIVE left and carnt understand why it is so slow. does any one know any SOLUTIONS to solve this? thanks nathanThere is a good chance that your computer is infected with viruses, malware, spyware, etc. What protection programs do you use?So, the computer was originally Windows 2000 but was LATER upgraded to Win XP, right? And, you have 10GB of hard drive space left out of how MUCH TOTAL space? How much RAM do you have? What's the processor speed? Did the slowness start suddenly or has it been getting gradually slower? Did you make any hardware or software changes about the time this slowness started? You said, "my comp is really slow everything takes for ever to load up", but that's vague. Can you give some examples of load up times? And, answer Soviet Genius' question.
