Answer» Everytime I BOOT up my pc I get this reboot error message "Failed to set data for `Execute´". I can´t do anything on my pc until I click the OK box or X it. It´s aggravating having to GO through this same process everytime. Any suggestions on how to remove or fix it? Running XP Media CenterHi, "RICK". I think you are trying to RUN a program at startup which does not have enough permissions. You are not in Administrator mode and something is trying to write to the REGISTRY. Has it been happening for a while? When did you last run a virus check?
