This assumes your OS is Win.2000> post back if you are using Win.9x.

Yes, but you first must know how files are renamed when deleted.  SEE here and here.

But be AWARE, if you continue to use your hdd the deleted files may be overwritten.

I have used Restoration from Snapfiles with excellent results.

P.S. recommendations in future : create backup partition (or folder if u don't know how to make that)
and save needed files there, it's good way of insurance in CASE u'r PC files crash or if accidently delete them.
