Answer» Was wondering if anyone knew any GOOD RECOVERY software that would tackle every ANGLE that I would need it for, from recovering music to pictures to Hardware issues. And if anyone knows of a FREE recovery software that would be even better. Thanksthere is no magic recovery program that does all you ask, but windows has a recovery program built in called System Recovery, lets hope you have it active and do backups every once in a while.It all depends on what you need to recover from. The simplest and arguably the best recovery system is backup. windows has a recovery program built in called System RecoveryWhat System Recovery do you have in mind? System Restore? If so, it won't restore ANYTHING else, but system files. Surely, not pictures.You can TRY Recuva. I've used it with mixed success...well atleast it's free, so you don't lose any money. if the drive from which you deleted the files is an OS drive, then the longer you use the drive, the lower your chances of succesful recovery because of the danger of overwriting the old files by windows or other apps. Pull the drive out and put in an external enclosure or plug it as a secondary drive. |
