Solve : Redirecting User Files to Aux D Drive?

Answer»

I am running out of room on my Main C Drive, which is a SSD 65GIG.  How and Can I move all the USER directories to
my Aux D drive which has 900 GIGS from.  Can you link, like in Unix?   You can move the My Documents folder (and many others), but the user folders cannot be EASILY relocated. Quote from: Allan on January 14, 2010, 04:23:28 PM

You can move the My Documents folder (and many others), but the user folders cannot be easily relocated.

If you mean installed programs, the programs would have to be uninstalled and then reinstalled to the new location. Quote from: stevener11 on January 14, 2010, 04:15:43 PM

NTFS supports SYMBOLIC linking and junctions but you cannot do that through windows explorer.
