Answer» Whenever WINDOWS 7 makes a sound (like an error message or something like that) it seems entirely too loud relative to other programs that make sounds. Is there any way I can make Windows 7 play quieter sounds when it's giving me error messages? I checked the Mixer and I didn't see anything there, and I also checked control panel -> sounds, and only FOUND a way to CHANGE the sounds Windows 7 made, but not exactly make them quieter.In the mixer Reduce the "Windows sounds" slider.
